The Electric Palace Cinema in Hastings Old Town, a tiny independent cinema, is showing three episodes from the famous Shades of Greene series as part of its annual Television festival. The screenings are on Thursday 9 October and will include Two Gentle People, Alas, Poor Maling and The Destructors.

The event will be hosted introduced by the actor Matt Waterhouse. He is promising to be at Berkhamsted for the festival and we are sure he will be happy to talk about this special showings of these excellent Greene adaptations.
