On October 2nd,  to mark Graham Greene’s 116th birthday, we will be publishing the talk Michael Hill would have been giving at the Graham Greene International Festival this year. Sadly, but understandably, the festival had to be cancelled owing to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. Mike’s talk will be on A Gun for Sale. This was Greene’s first so-called ‘Entertainment’ and is a sadly neglected work of his dating from the 1930s. Mike will be paying particular attention to the historical context underpinning the book.

The talk will be published as a post on this, The Trust and Festival News page.
