How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information from you when you contact us for example about Graham Greene, the work of the Trust, or about the Graham Greene International Festival. We collect some information from you when you order Festival tickets from us, or subscribe to becoming a Friend of the Trust.

What type of information do we collect?
The type of information we collect might include your name, address, email address, and telephone number. If you make a donation or purchase something from us (such as tickets for the Festival), the Trust and/or our payment processors may collect some financial details from you, such as card details or bank account information, depending on the type of payment. When you visit our website, we may automatically collect information about your computer, such as your IP address and the pages on our site that you visit.
How do we use your information?
We may use your information to:
- Process orders you’ve made (for example, for Festival tickets)
- Send you information relating to Graham Greene, the Trust and the Festival
- Answer queries you’ve contacted us about
- Publicise something you’ve participated in with us, such as a competition or survey. We may feature the results in our Newsletter and/or on our website.
- Use data analytics to improve our website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences
Who do we share your information with?
We use two companies – Indigo Tree, who host our website, and PayPal, to fulfil orders you make for tickets for the Graham Greene International Festival, or if you subscribe online as a Friend of the Graham Greene Birthplace Trust. We do not share your information with other third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information if we are under a duty to disclose it in order to comply with a legal obligation.
Where do we store your personal information?
The information we collect from you may be transferred among a small number of Trustees of the Graham Greene Birthplace Trust, and occasionally a small number of helpers, in order to fulfil our obligations to you, like sending you the Newsletter or ensuring you are on the list for an event at the Festival. By submitting your personal information, you agree to this transfer. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
How can I update my personal details with you?
Please let us know of any changes to your personal details by contacting the Trust.
How can I opt out of receiving information from the Trust, or ask you to delete my personal data?
You can opt out at any time, and/or request we delete you from our records either by email or by contacting the Trust by post.
How can I request a copy of the information you hold about me?
You can request this for free, by contacting us by the means indicated above. We will guarantee to reply within a month of receipt of your request.
What if I’m unhappy with the way you’ve handled my personal details?
We’d like you to contact the Trust in the first instance, so we can put things right.
