Graham Greene
Richard Greene, who is to direct the 25th Graham Greene International Festival in 2024, has managed to secure Lo Dagerman as a speaker. Lo is the daughter of Anita Björk who was Greene’s lover during the 1950s. Greene and Björk had a discreet relationship with the Swedish actress and they remained in correspondence long after their relationship ended. At one stage, Graham Greene contemplated moving to Sweden to be with Anita.
A reminder, the 2024 Festival takes place 3-6 October.
