As this link shows, Penguin recently brought out a new edition of Graham Greene’s short stories.
Probably best remembered as a novelist, Greene was also a master in the art of the short story. In this collection Yiyun Li has arranged twenty-two stories into pairs to be read together in contrast or in harmony – as a dual, duel or a duet experience, hence the title of the work. Unexpected, surprising and wide-ranging, this is the short-form fiction of one of the twentieth century’s greatest storytellers.
