We are sad to announce the passing of James Carleton Greene, son of Hugh, Graham’s brother, hence Graham’s nephew. He died in May 2023 at the age of 85. A supporter of the Trust and an attendee at several past Festivals, James was born in 1938 and was educated at Eton and New College Oxford. Following somewhat in his famous uncle’s footsteps, in 1980 he published a volume of poetry, Dead Man’s Fall. The Trust extends its sympathy and condolences to all of James’s family and friends.
