It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Julia Clark, wife of the Trust’s Chairman Giles. Julia died peacefully at home on Sunday 19 April after a comparatively short illness.
Those who knew Julia would describe her as a ‘character’: funny, often outspoken, even audacious – but great company. She was a loyal supporter of the Trust and was present at many festivals over the years. She was also ‘around’ for a chat after Trust meetings which are held in Giles’ beautiful home ‘The Bothy’ which is filled with examples of Julia’s very individual artwork. She will be very sorely missed by us all.
