The Budapest Times reports that the famous Third Man Museum in Vienna is to re-open on 13 June, contrary to reports that it had shut its doors for good as a consequence of the Coronavirus pandemic. The museum proudly claims that it runs without subsidies or sponsorship. Its co-founder and owner Gerhard Strassgschwandtner (left) commented, ‘it would be a shame if we had to shut down the museum because of a stupid virus’. Indeed it would.
The future of the 2020 Graham Greene International Festival too remains in the balance because of the pandemic. As soon as there is news it will be published on this website.
